Smile Much APPRECIATED!

John,
No doubt...this is the place to be!
Thanks for the info...! and the greeting!
So, in your opinion, the extra $150 in the MicroTuner would be worth it? as opposed to getting dual fans etc? Wife has kinda given me a $1200 limit and I definitely want to go with the MaganaFlow system Mike recommends...just trying to see how to get the "most" bang for my buck.

I've done some mods and I would bet the tuner is the best bang for the buck. I had a hypertech chip for about two years. I had done a few other things at the same time, TB and K&N FIPK, so I couldn't tell if it made any difference by itself.

I just installed a new valve body and took the chip out. What a difference. The hypertech was actually degrading my performance, because it is "generic".

I would ask Mike and see what his reccomendations are. But if I had 1,200 (very generous wife!! ) I would do the following.

Tuner $325 (sooner or later you'll get tired of sloppy shifts)
Exhaust $500-600 ( If you go with Magnaflow, Not sure of price)
K&N FIPK $250
Auxilliary Tranny Cooler $100 ( if you don't already have one ), do whatever you can to bullitproof your tranny!!
