Arrow Which one? on the market for...

Hello, everyone!

This is my first time in the Computer Chip section. As you may have guessed, I am looking to buy a Chip at some point down the line ( sooner than later).

What I need to know is:

Who makes a good/dependable chip that will smooth my AT at gear change and stop my piston slap like sound. I would also like more low/high power utilization.

Info about my truck:

2001 s-cab 4.6Ltr. 4R-70W 373.
K&N FIPK2
Flowmaster delta series 50 CB
All Redline synthetic lubes

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Better yet, give him a call, and he will give you more than enough answers. He posts as Superchips_Distributor.

Hi MF150,

Welcome aboard!

We can easily provide you with more power and performance, and much better shift characteristics, but with regard to your problem of piston slap, no chip could possibly cure piston slap, if that is what it is. If you having *detonation* from a tuning issue, yes, that we can solve.

The Superchip is used by more F-150 owners than any other performance chip simply because it does the best job. It's the only performance chip that tunes each vehicle according to it's own software revision in the PCM, that tunes for maximum HP & torque all the time at any throttle position, and that is still 50-state emissions certified, no other chip offers all of that. Some offer parts of that of course, but only the Superchip offers all of that.

The best thing to do to find out more about this, and for us to be able to correctly tell you just exaclty what we can do to help your specific situation, is to give us a quick call when you get a chance, & we'll be more than happy to go over this with you in detail. You'll probably want to speak with me personally, & I'll be happy to do that. I will be in the installation shop most of this week, so if you give us a call at our nubmer listed below, I'll probably have to call you back in the evening (meaning say, sometime between 6-7 PM Eastern), as I'll be at the install shop until about 5:30 pm for the next few days.

Glad you dropped by, & I look forward to talking with you!
