I went home for lunch today and found a very pleasant surprise neatly tucked between the screen door and entry door at my house. Yipee! My Micro Tuner was here. Thanks a ton Mike for getting that thing out to me so fast. I was able to upgrade my program, and eat lunch and still make it back to work on time. I have a question. I know that the few times I've had to disconnect my battery, it seemed as though it took a little bit of driving before the truck performed normally. Will I have the same type of "re-learning" period with the new SuperChip program installed? I accepted the "default" superchip program and didn't bother trying to customize anything for now. Also, are there any special driving precautions or procedures? Also Also, I've noticed on previous threads that Premium gasoline is required for the SuperChip. It doesn't say anything about grade of gasoline anywhere in the instructions that came with the tuner. Do I still need to run Premium?

Yes, you always have to use premium gas with the Micro Tuner just like with the Superchip, the tuning is exactly the same, the only thing that has changed is the type of device used to deliver the performance program.
