Question spedometer

I have what may seem like a silly question ....

I have done a few mods...... (see sig) and now my screw will go to the top end of the stock 100mph speedo (on a closed circuit-- don't try this at home )

well I read someplace on here there was a sequence of things that you could do to get the trip meter to read as a digital speedo. (the sequence I am refering to was something like how you shut of the seat belt buzzer -- similar to rub your stomach and pat your head all within 15 sec)

Not that I want to go over 100 all the time... but it would be nice to know how fast this thing will go......

any how if anyone has heard of that ... please post.

Secondly----

Underdrive Pulleys
approx cost ??
where to get them?
how big of job to install?
actual diferences once installed?

thanks

Mike

Hi mikebike,

The udnerdrive pulleys are availalbe from us. We cannot discuss pricing here on the message boards, that is against the polocies of F-150 Online that we all had to agree to in registering to post here, so please give us a shout privately for that info.

Installation is relatively easy, you'll need an hour to an hour and a half perhaps.

The results are very nice, you pick up about 15 HP at the flywheel, a solid 11.8 to the rear wheels. The nice thing about this type of modification is that it works all the time, at any rpm or throttle position, as you're always expending less pwoer to turn the various accessories, thus alweays reduced those parasitic losses.

Give us a shout for all the details!

Oh, and on the odometer trick, Neal the HP Freak knows it well, ask him.
