SuperChip vs. Hyper programer

I am somewhat confused

Can someone tell me the difference between getting a superchip vs getting a hyper programer. After reading up the programer, it would appear to give you the best of both worlds.

Program for performance when you want it

Program it for normal when you want that instead.

Seems the ability to switch back and fourth would be much desired - hence the "flip chip".

So what I would like to know is which type of set up would be better to own ??

Anyone want to tackle that one

This is a question that we see here frequently. You might want to take a look at some of the earlier posts.

I will not try to explain the difference, there will be a qualified answer commimg along soom. I will say that the Hypertech is a one size fits all and the Superchip is programmeg specificly to your computer code. I was interested in the Hypertech initally. Boy am I glad I found this site and the information I needed to make a decision. I would have wasted my money if I hadn't!

Good luck.

Hi F250-lariat,

If you go take a look at the first thread you posted that exact same question in, you'll find the response I have given you there for you to read. It's the thread titled something like "why doesn't Ford use Superchips," and it's one of the later posts in that thread. It goes over the key points briefly, enough for you to quickly get a grasp of just what the differences are and why they're so important.

Once you've read that, if you have any questions, etc., please feel free to give us a call, our contact info is just below, & we'll be more than happy to go over that in detail.

Merry Christmas!
