Question Question for Mike T

Mike,

If I decide to install a Bassani catback system, would I need a reburn on my flip-chip?

Tim

Hi Tim!

No, you would not need to have the program in your Superchip changed for things like K&N air filters, airbox elimination kits, or cat-back exhaust systems in these F-150's, Expeditions, etc.

You would need to have custom programming done if you changed the mass airflow meter, or did major mods like a blower or ported cylinder heads, camshaft changes, etc., just to give you an idea of the types of mods that require custom programming in these vehicles, and the Superchip can always be reprogrammed if need be.

Good, no reprograming needed. I ordered the Bassani, so now I have, stock muffler, 14568, and Bassani. I will switch back and forth till I decide I need Flowmasters. It never stops!!!

Hi Tim,

I hope the Bassani does the trick for you.

Good luck!
