Question Flip chip question

Hi Mike,
I installed my flip chip. All is working well after the second install.
I mean this truck pulled stunts that made no sense to me. I went back and redid the terminal cleaning.
Anyway, good hard pull low to mid range, The upper end, as long as the rpm's were climbing,it did not shift. Is this normal?
Not quite the seat of the pants feelthat I was expecting but not disappointing either. Some explaination on this would be nice.
The flip chip question that I have is this, There are 2 wires going to the switch, What is the default setting, 1 or 2?
From what I see is the chip doesn't need the switch when it is in the default postion, correct? Just wondering, I was expecting a switch that had 3 wires instead of 2.
Thanks!!

Hi peties3,

If you purchased your Superchip from us (and I have no way of knowing from a screen name on the Internet, there are just too many to remember to match them up with real names, etc.), I would suggest referring to our Performance Products documentation, which says:

"Remember, if you need help, Technical Support is just a phone call away, so anytime you have a problem with the vehicle not starting with the Superchip installed, or any other issue you think may be related to the Superchip, please call us here at Performance Products FIRST!! Do not attempt to get Technical Support by posting on the message boards of F-150 Online, if you are a participant at that web site. That clogs the public message boards and does not get you the help you need from us in a timely manner"..................."The number to call for Tech Support is (540) 862-9515. If you need to reach us after hours or during the weekend, please leave us a voicemail, and we will return any calls placed to us over the weekend. Remember, if you don’t call us, we can’t help you."

End Quote

As you see, you'll have to call us to report a problem, or to obtain Technical Support, etc., which is exactly why we mention that in our instructions, so that it's clear how to get Technical Support.

Your rev limiters are still intact, we never remove a rev limiter, so your engine cannot overrev. If I were you, I would call us before another day goes by to go over this. Again, this isn't the time or the place, so just give us a call.
