Gauge cluster swap after dyno tune?

Gauge cluster swap after dyno tune?
So I have a turbocharged 03 f150, sct tuned. I have a little experience with the vcm2 from doing a gauge cluster swap on my 13 5.0 mustang. I've also changed a pcm out on another 03 f150 with the help of my vcm2.
On my dyno tuned f150, can I swap my cluster and use ids with vcm2 and reprogram it all (aside from mileage) without any of that affecting my tune? Or should I load the stock tune first?
I dont expect a gauge cluster swap to affect anything other than PATS security followed by a pcm KAM reset, since keys have to be reprogrammed I'll have to figure out how to reprogram my remote start too I guess.
I want to swap to the lightning cluster, I already have it, but I'll have to send the cluster out to have the mileage programmed to match my current mileage but aside from that, I expect it to be easy.
Any additional info is appreciated!
thanks!
