I just did the engine swap I bought a SCT X4 the tuner does not give me the 5.4 as a engine option
is there a way to trick the tuner to allow me to load the 5.4 canned tune or do I need to have a custom tune wrote for it

Custom tunes are ALWAYS recommended over canned tunes.
