I own a 99 Lightning. The PCM went out and is not repairable.

Question: (Give this some thought before answering)

If I got a PCM for a plain jane vanilla 99 F150 with a 5.4 and 4R100
trans and have it reflashed with my Lightning strategy, VIN and mileage,
could it work?

(We put superchargers on F150's every day with just a tune.....)

I have seen other makes done this way. Just wondering.
