Cool

OK, here we go
It wasn't that "I didn't want to provide pictures to SCT". At the time, I didn't think of that, nor was it ever suggested to me by tech support.
I only have one PC, how many do you have?
What "APP" are you refering to?
Don't know if/if not this ever worked before Because.... this was the first time I ever tried to load/unload anything onto the Livewire, or anything else for that matter, except for loading the preinstalled tunes onto the truck, I've done nothing else.
It wasn't that I didn't allow remote access. As I said, In the interim, before I got the email requesting access, I had figured it out, on my own, quite by mistake.
And your right, repeating myself was futile because apparently this has never happened to tech support so they really didn't know how to respond, had no answer except to say "Here" is a link that may help, which were directions that I already had, that were useless for what was in front of me. So they repeated the same thing to me...

Seems to me this bothers you. Sorry for being so stupid about computers and such.

I just thought that I would give an update on the performance of the Tow Tune rev. that I got from 5-Star. It made wrld of difference in the trucks performance and gas mileage. It's like what I was hoping for from the original Tow Tune. Staring out from home I could feel an immediate increase in the torque and delivery of power. The shifts are as they were before, quick and firm. The first half of the trip is relatively flat with some small rolling hills. I started out going 60 mph. I was averaging 11.7 mpg. Once I got onto I70 west I bumped her up to 65 mph and was averaging 11.2 mpg. The inclines on I70, and I68 west along the way are 3%-4% inclines. The truck would maintain it's speed with no strain at all, and while in T/H mode would drop to 5th. gear and maintain. Only on two longer, steep grades did it drop to 4rth. gear. By the time I got out to West Virginia my overall average MPG for the trip was 10.9 mpg. I think that if I had stayed at 60 mph for the entire trip that my average MPG would of been a bit better. So I am very happy with this Tow Tune revision.

Thanks. Here are a few pics I took along the way. For the first part of the trip I had my camera packed away, so I can't confirm my 11.7 MPG. I stopped at a rest area on I70 for a bit, so I unpacked it then. You can see the results. The trip from Kirkwood, Delaware to Burlington, WV. was 264.8 miles. The first part to just past Frederick, MD. is relatively flat with some rolling hills. From there to Burlington is all up and down in the mountains. My elevation here in WV is about 1,200'. So, 264.8 miles, I used 24.3 gallons of gas, so the overall trip average was around 10.9 MPG.

Cool

Ok, so, I am back home now. Friday morning I awoke to a real bad back pain. Maybe I did a bit too much bending and twisting during the past week and a half. Manning the trail cams, riding around the mountain and thru the field in the Ranger is a bit hard on my back. Plus, I don't have a bed to sleep in, I just recline back in a recliner. So, When I got up out of the chair I could feel my back starting to go out and strike that nerve that goes down my leg. So I immediately sat back down and that's pretty much where I spent the next two days. Kept ice on my back and only got up to use the facilities. So, my sister had to call my brother in law to come back down to help (he had to go home on Tuesday to take care of the kid and dogs). He had to do my jobs, which were, going around the properties and collect some cameras, reset the others that were staying, reset the feeders, get the gear out of the blind, and put up the security cables. Then the Ranger had to be loaded up into the trailer. I decided to leave in West Virginia. It's secure locked up in the trailer until I can get back down to get it. Even thou we were leaving sat. afternoon, I was still expecting to hit some holiday traffic. Which we did. Then he had to do my packing of my suitcase, and equipment that I was bringing home, then winterize the trailer. Plus there was the possibility that he may have to drive me home. I was that bad. Laying around with a frozen bag of peas on my back did the trick. I was well enough that I thought I could drive myself home. It's nearly a five hour trip. So I slid into the truck very carefully, and then my sister and brother in law followed me. But the last 1 1/2 hours I would be on my own. But I did OK. Didn't drive crazy or weave. Traveled a steady 70 mph most of the way, dropped to 65 mph were I had to. So this is what I am finally getting to. I didn't reprogram the tune on the Livewire. I didn't have time. I just ran it home on the revised 91 Tow Tune. I averaged 17.6 mpg. The first hour was about 55-60, then 70mph until I got to a back up around I-81 near Hagerstown, MD.. Slowed to a crawl for about 15 minutes, then again around Frederick, MD. for about ten minutes. Then 70 again until I hit US301 N.. Speed limit there is 55, but I was doing 65-70, and cars were still going by me. So, there you have it. Whew..................
