Superchip and piston slap

Hey mike, got a question for ya.
Does the superchip still use the piston slap sensor on the engine. If so how does that work. If not can you reprogram it to get rid of the slapping and what info would you need to do so. If a product advances the ignition timing chemically could the super chip take this into consideration. So as not to cause both a chemical and electrical advance of the spark creating piston slap?

Hi Quadkeys,

No, the Superchip has absolutely nothing to do with piston slap, nor does it have any effect on any piston slap. Piston slap is *not* caused by proper tuning, it's generally a mechanical defect, or something you get with forged pistons until they come up to normal operating temperature and expand.

Let me guess, this is about the "direct hits" system, right?
