Is there any place that I'm able to trade my Evolution for a CS? I'm not talking about personal trades, but I mean a shop or some place online that will trade and I just have to pay a premium. I like my Evolution, I even got it to color-match my dash, but I really like the CS for the color screen (yes, I'm a little superficial like that).

I've contemplated the CTS, but I like having a pod to mount the programmer in that helps to make it an OEM product. And as much as I wanna build a pod for it, I don't have much time between work, family, and school.

 

oh it will still mount to the pod if you get the $10 adapter - though it mounts on the front of the pod instead of in it

the only thing I don't like is it's to tempting & easy for some crack head to punch out the window & swipe it thinkin he's gonna sell another gps for the next fix

Okay, so I did some research and turns out the CTS will be a soon purchase. I honestly don't care to use the tunes, but the rear view camera port is helpful. I think I might actually invest in the CTS programmer instead of just the viewer module for the economy tune. The mounting adapter is a neat idea but you're right, it does stand out too much, kinda asking for it to get stolen.

But is there anywhere I can take my older Evolution programmer so I can get the CTS programmer and just pay an upgrade premium?

 

I would put it in the classifieds and sell it. I was looking not too long ago and it seems they sell quick and then buy your CTS.

 

Check with Edge. I asked that question on there facebook page a while back, that hinted at a special deal, but did not elaborate. I didn't follow up at that time though.

 

Yeah, I think I'll end up checking up with Edge, If they have a deal good enough, I'll take it. If not, then I'll end up listing it.
