Hey there - top o' the mornin' to ya;

Ask a Mod to move yer thread to: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ch...rogramming-34/ . which is more relevant.

Then, read the Stickies at the top of that forum.

Just do the Gotts Mod - see the Tech Articles section - the K&N is a waste of money - little power to be had, and y'all will require custom tuning in any case to render it safe to use. Sorry - don't believe the BS Marketing claims because... well, they're BS

Save yer $$$ and just go buy a custom-tuned flash programmer from www.vmptuning.com.

This one: http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index...=226&parent=66

That WILL produce tangible gains and put a on yer face.

Ford dealer can't do bupkis for ya.

Finally - if, despite the overwhelming data that demonstrates it is simply not worth doing (except for appearance and some noise),you decide to proceed, there is no need to take it anywhere - mail-order custom tuning that provides the correct transfer function for that specific intake will be just fine. VMP, TP, PHP - yer choice.
