Sent in my edge to PHP

So i just sent out my edge to PHP to be upgraded to a Gryphon. I decided to only get the 87 performance tune for now. Now i just have to deal with my truck being slow as hell with little to no acceleration on the highway until i get it back. If anyone has dealt with them recently, how long did it take to get yours back? I just switched over from running 91 octane on level 3 to running level 1 with 87 octane and WOW, what a difference. The truck barely moves without mashing the gas. That is the reason i wanted to upgrade. Gas is getting too expensive to be running 91. I should have the Gryphon upgrade paid off in no time using the cheaper 87 gas.

They are really slow over there. I placed my CTS order with them with a tune this pass Saturday and have they have not processed my order as of yet. I knew before buying my CTS there would be a cumbersome wait. I picked PHP because Bill seems to know his Sh*t, especially on Fords. I also am going for the 87 perf tune. I just drive on stock, but I hope to see an improvement. It's hard to imagine I will see a difference because I am so used to stock, can't wait to actually see if there really is any difference.

I sent in my Edge to be converted to a Gryphon and have 3 custom tunes written at the end of December. I got it back early-mid February. It really made me appreciate the difference with a tuner. Well worth the wait!

I ordered my Gryphon CS around Christmas. Once I got the unit and sent in my HEX code, my custom tunes were ready for download in exactly 3 weeks. Not sure if the conversion route takes longer or not though.

This is what corey said when i asked her about an estimate of turn around time -

The holdup is based on the fact that I'm (Corey) not in the office most days (I have an appointment with the neurologist in 15 days, so hopefully, that will change soon!) and Bill is doing more than usual. Many times, the tunes will be waiting for you on Pegasus by the time your programmer is back in your hands.

I literally did the exact same thing you did last month. I sent it to then Jan 20-something and got it back about 3 weeks later. I'm ALMOST run a full tank of gas through it, and I've yet to crack 400 miles on the trip. 100% city (Los Angeles) driving and the gryphon as well as the stock computer report 15.9 mpg. I like the way the truck shifts, and I like the giddyup in the high range and the effortless torquiness in the low range.

I can't expect better than 16 in complete rush hour LA driving so I'm pleased with it thus far. Maybe .5-1 mpg better than my edge, which sounds small but is rather helpful in these expensive-gas times.

Ps, The cheapest gas station near me has 87 at $3.87 a gallon. =(
