How do I know if???

I sold my 07 F150 and returned the tuning to stock. Now I've gone and updated the Gryphon to purge the now worthless custom tunes. How do I know for sure that the Gryphon is back to canned tunes? I don't believe this model works with my 11 FX4. I just want to be sure it's reset before I put it up for sale.

Thanks

This part is already well-known - you must use the CS/CTS platform for the new trucks.

SVT - simply ensuring it's unlocked is sufficient I would wager - any future owner should be able to handle the update process themselves - and probably should anyway ...

However, Sir '88 or Sir Shotgunz will know for sure - does either Fusion or Pegasus not definitevely indicate successful completion of the 'lobotomy' process?

I'm assuming you have the monochrome gryphon. If so, hold the menu button and plug it into your computer. The screen will light up as if it were plugged into your truck. Simply go to the power programming menu and see if your custom tune(s) are listed.

I had posted on PHP's forum asking but no one responded to my post. I figured it was a no go on the 11, but MGD clearly knows more about this stuff then I do. Pegasus shows the updates were sucessful and they cleared the hex file reference in the communication screen. It looks good for its new owner, kobra commander.

Thanks to all for your help on this.
