Read through some threads first.
Right now SCT is the most recomended if you want custom tunes. SCT also seams to be ahead of the development curve as far as any of the programmer companies have come thus far.
Edge just released the CS and CTS for the 09-10s.

The edge/Gryphon is a well liked product on here.

Check into SCT's livewire also.

The biggest bang for your buck by far is custom tunes.
Look into those also.
As a courtesy in my Sig I have included Links to some of the more well liked companies by members on this forum.

The Livewire does not support the 09-10s and as of October 2009, SCT had no plans to re-write the firmware.

Sorry I wanted to double check my information, your vehicle is supported on the X3 but not yet on the livewire. I do not have any information on when they plan to release it for the Livewire, I'm sorry.

Thank You,

Oh really?
That active display would've been nice feature to have in the 09-10s as far as new customers would've like to choose from when comparing alternative products.

Thanx
I'll add it to my notes.

SCT is great if you want custom tuning.

If your just wanting simple to install and use power our Gas GT is a good choice and it comes with digital gauges.

They did not say they had no plans to do so. They said they did not have a release date. Big difference. You never announce release dates unless you are sure you can meet it.

Can someone tell me what they think the best tuner is for a 2003 5.4? It's an XLT supercrew, but I don't think that matters. I just want to get rid of the top speed limiter and adjust for 22" wheels if possible...

Hey since this thread is already going I have a 2010 with a 5.4L also and I was just wondering what the hp gains are on the SCT and Edge and Bully Dog programmers are, who has the most power gains? And what are "custom tunes" like for diesel trucks you can put out crazy amounts of hp on a tune but a V8 gas engine could'nt possibly put out any significant difference in hp than from a pre-tuned programmer, so what do exactly the custom tunes do?
