Tuner + Performance Parts

I have a 2008 Supercrew F150 4x4 5.4 and I am trying to get a little better mpg and better towing. I have been researching the tuners and was wondering if I should get any other performance parts before getting a tuner or will it work fine with a stock truck? Also which tuner would you recommend for what I am trying to get out of my truck?

Most tuners will work perfectly with a stock truck.

Our Predator or Trinity tuner for your 08 F150 will add a solid 25+ rwhp along with 1-2 MPG gains in fuel economy. There are also nice gains in low end torque which help getting those heavy loads up to speed big time.

Pretty bold statement Mike. It's nice to see manufacturers step up and make those kind of guarantees!

Programmers I'd recommend,
SCT.
Gryphon.
I'd highly suggest getting custom tunes for your truck also.
Companies that write custom tunes,
PHP.
Troyer.
VMP.
See the links in my Sig for more info.

Thanks for the information...I looked at the vmp website earlier and I am kinda leaning that way.

Just to let you know that Justin@VMP is a good guy and he's got great turn around times on custom tunes.
