Chip or Tuner??

Ok, so I just picked up a 2008 F-350 with a 5.4l gas engine. I didn't go for the diesel because I don't pull much and didn't want the high maintenance cost related to owning one. Reason was I have a 20' cargo trailer that I pull maybe 4 times a year and wanted heavier suspension. my old 150 was just getting tugged around.
Anyways I want to know what tuner or chip out there is going to work best for increased torque and a bit better mileage? There are lots on Ebay but don't really trust something that costs $28??
Can someone direct me in the right direction with something they have purchased and actually works with a 5.4l ?

Cheers, Darcy

Stay away from the cheap gimmick crap on eBay.
Only a programmer will work for your truck.
Do some searching around here see what people are using for programmers and or with or with out custom tunes.
Follow the links in my Sig to look at what programmers people from this forum are using .
