ok i have a 97 F150 5.4L and is lookin at putting a chip into it. if any of yall have the same kind of truck as me and has a chip in it, tell me about it and if your happy with it. Im really lookin for one to improve MPG and improve acceleration. and ill take any suggestions! Thanks

 

Is it stock and do you plan on doing any modifications? I like either the edge, or Gryphon. But now a day you have to buy an edge and send it the PHP to get the gryphon. If you plan on staying stock.. just get the edge, then if you plan on doing any mods etc send it to PHP and get some custom tunes. Im happy with mine I had the edge for almost 2 years and have had the Gryphon since Febuary and I love the gryphon b/c my custom tunes are awesome and I have a 93 octane performance tune with 33s and I get 17.2 mpg highway and around 15 around town.

 

thanks. yea its stock right now and wat i plan on doing is doin a 4inch suspension lift and 3 inch body with some 35s. im goin to offroad it. just right now i get 13 city and 15 highway max. i just want to improve MPG really.
