Emissons question

I ahe installed an edge on my truck, in tennessee every year I have to have the emissions tested in order to renew my tags. They have to plug there computer into my trucks computer. Do I have to return to stock before they run the test, or can I just unplug it from the port and plug it back in and go on my way.

DO NOT RETURN THE TUNE TO STOCK BEFORE AN EMISSIONS TEST! (Is that clear enough?)

If you return your tune to stock, the computer will set a P1000 drive cycle code and that code will cause you to fail the test. On the day of the test, I'd simply remove the Gryphon from the truck and unplug the cable, tucking it up out of sight behind the dash. The Gryphon does not have to be connected when you drive your truck.

Please read the sticky "Questions About Tunes?" at the top of this forum. This issue is covered in that thread.
