SCT question
You "stan"ions are all alike! Damned 3rd world upstarts. Of course now I have to say I'm from AZstan, in light of our recent political hijinks!
I'm really amused that Mexico has issued a "travel advisory" to its citizens to be somewhat careful about travel in this backwards part of the world.
The first court challenge to this stupid bill came from a local police officer.
The president of the University, Dr. Shelton, has come out and said monetary support to the University of Arizona is taking a hit, and, highly qualified students from Mexico that were admitted are saying, "no thanks". (The Mexican students I came in contact with in my time at the University were ALWAYS better qualified, and better workers, than our "home-grown" bunch).
OK, you get my opinion on this now. It should have been posted in the General Discussion forum, but somehow, between us "stan"ions, it seemed to fit here.

ok, just thought id chime in here with a few Qs. the OP is saying he has an 06 5.4L would a tuner with canned tunes make it run lean? i thought it pretty much needed custom tunes for it to correct that issue.
also to OP, SCT is one of the most common tuners for those of us who have the 4.2L V6(i have the 4.2 but no tuner yet). there arent as many programmers/tuners on the market for the 4.2L compared to the 4.6 and 5.4L. but before i became a member on this site, SCT was the ONLY one i ever heard of being used on the 4.2L.
also to anyone, if i get an SCT tuner, will it come with a SCT emblem to put on my truck? and also how would i go about getting more than 1 emblem? like say i wanted one tuner but wanted 5 emblems. how would i go about doing that?

Sir - you can always order from them direct, regardless if you have an SCT programmer or not : http://www.sctflash.com/shop/index.php?cPath=7
Good fer 10HP right thar

If you purchase a programmer and/or just tuning for one, most of these fellers have stickers (TP and VMP does) that are included - as many as you'd like - upon asking. As for the SCT plastic emblems linked to above, you'd need to ask the tuner feller what is possible. I can't answer that one
sorry.Good luck!

I'd have to agree with you on all points (as much as i hate to admit it, lol).
We have some unbelieveably talented, motivated & energetic folks from other '-stans' due to the international nature of our bidness. A genuine pleasure to work with - and boy can they drink

And - my thanks to you fer legitimizing thread-hi-Jacking
I feel much better about it now, given it's almost unavoidable these days due to two certain malicious, malodorous, malcontents that appear to be permanently barnacled to my hull. Can't shake 'em
