PHP Has a New Toy!
We got some great news and just HAD to share!Power Hungry Performance is now the proud owner of a Mustang Dyno.
(What was that? Dyno Event here in Georgia? Oh, you betcha!)

Hello!
Yeah - for me, it's yet another trusted tuner dyno that's too far to drive to!
Corey & Bill - that's superb news - Congrats!
A Q if I may - why a Mustang instead of a Dynojet? Just curious. My understanding is the two produce different numbers....
Cheers!

From Bill:
1 - This is a load cell dyno, which is absolutely necessary for live tuning and proper testing of calibrations.
2 - It provides a more accurate hp and torque rating than standard inertia dynos.
3 - Generally, Mustang dynos produce more accurate results than the Dynojet.
4 - The reason people don't like load dynos like Mustang or Superflow or Dyno Dynamics is because their numbers are always lower than the inflated results from a comparable inertia dyno such as the Dynojet, but those numbers simply aren't realistic.
5 - Bill used to use the same one when he worked for Edge.

My son, Wil, saw the invoice. "WE'RE GETTING A MUSTANG!" I hated to tell him to read further.
We actually test drove a 2010 Mustang Gt a couple of weeks ago. My 10 year old son had visions of how cool he was going to be in 6 years. We did not buy the car but even if we had no way would he ever get to drive it!

Awesome!
