Edge Evolution and CAI
Edge Evolution and CAI
I have a CAI and over the last two years ran it on the truck with improved mileage and power but i took off a while ago so that ford would work on my truck. Ford stated that they needed to take it off to diagnose a problem which ended up not relating to the intake at all, as ford never told me it was because of the intake. So I decided to wait out and not put it back on anyways.
I recently got my Edge evolution and ran some some tests with the stock intake on then the CAI on and i found very little differences so i put the stock back on. I did not however unplug the battery or wait a couple days for the computer to adapt.(which a friend recently pointed out).
My question is, with the programmer on the truck will it adapt to the CAI and eventually start showing some results? Should i put it back on, disconnect the battery or run it for a week and then re-test for results? Has anyone done this to see if there is any significant differences? Anyone in the same boat?
Thanks Mike
