Chevy turned Ford

Well well. I am a hardcore bowtie fan from birth who has since bought a Ford. I can't believe it. However my response to my bowtie buddies is come ride with me and you ll see the difference. I have fell in love with the new fords and have been real impressed. The ride is amazing, good power, super super quiet and lots of nice features. I have been thinking about a programmer but don't know crap about these Fords. I new a lot about the Chebbies but I am totally new to these 5.4 3 V's. I got a 2010 SuperCrew 4x4 Lariat with the 5.4 3v. I was wondering what most of you guys are running. I was wondering how much gas mileage I m gonna have to give up for some power. The only thing I don't like about the truck is it seems like there is some lag time on the down shift. Thanks for the help and I am learning alot.

Welcome to the Blue Oval. We're glad you finally came in from the rain.

Unfortunately, there aren't many programmers out there for 09/10s yet. If you agree with the custom tune option (did you read the stickies at the top of the forum?), you're really limited to SCT, Gryphon (re-badged Edge), and possibly Diablo, depending on what future mods you're expecting.

PHP, VMP, and Troyer can write custom tunes for SCT.

Only PHP can write tunes for the Gryphon.
