curious and confused

k so i thought that one of the best chips/programmers to get for a 2004 ford f150 was the edge evo, well i bought it and now looking on this forum more i see all these guys talking about gryphone custome tunning? so my question is, what is the difference between the two and why does it seem that people like the gryphone alot more? my truck is a 2004 screw cab with 35's and 6" lift, i have a magnaflow exhaust and cold air intake, so what i am wondering is would it be better to keep the edge or should i look more into the gryphone? i am just confused and would like your thoughts.... thanks much guys

Read the stickies first. Linkies below.

Gryphon = custom-tuned Edge hardware, supplied only by PHP ==> http://www.powerhungryperformance.com/

Then try yer hand at . It's fun & productive

Note that you may have issues running yer CAI with Edge's canned tunes.
Also note that custom tunes will almost always outperform a canned tune of the same ilk (octane, etc), and will allow for proper correction the CAI might require to be 'safe'.

Again - search.

Oh - curious is good. Very good. And folks around here don't get confused - they get "confuded". Also, they apparently don't eat lunch - it's "linch". Yep ... a very strange place indeed. Welcome!

good luck

haha ok i will keep searching i just don't get online that much and thought it would be faster and easier asking fellow ford memeber what they think is the best, thanks for the links though i did read them and they did help out i am just thinking if i want to keep my edge or get the gryphon update done to it and if it is worth the money, so if anybody can chime in with there pros or cons about the gryphone and if it is worth the money or just keep the edge the way it is thanks...
