Edge Programming/Help!/questions

Hey everyone. Good to be here. I have a couple of questions for all the experts of this forum. I'm a newbie. I just bought an Edge programmer for my 05 F150 and I have a couple of questions/concerns. Thanks in advance!

1)When I left the shop which installed my programmer they didn't mention Level 3 Performance needed 91 octane fuel. At the time, my truck had 87 'Regular'. I drove it on Level 3 for about 30 miles until I read it should be used with 91 and changed it to level 1. Could that have messed anything up or damaged anything for those 30 miles?

2)I'm confused on my tire size circumference. My tire size is 325/60-20R. I'm confused because when I do the Edge forumula/calculation to determine my circumference I get a higher number then the recommended 35' 2792 Edge says. My 325/60-20R is considered a 35' tire. Which circumference should I use and does it affect anything if I chose one or the other or less? Is it mostly for accuracy in speedometer ratings for chip and truck?

3)I would like to stay stay on Level 2 because its the 'happy medium' without requiring 91 gas which is expensive. What settings do you recommend for increased noticeable performance as well as decent MPG for Level 2? Meaning, shift ratios, RPM maxes, etc? What settings do YOU use for Level 2 that gives you good performance?

Thanks to all in advance I need all the help I can get!!

Why would you have someone else install a plug in tuner?
the octane increase is because of the advanced timing. as long as you didnt get into the gas pedal, you should be ok. if you heard detonation that would be bad.

thanks for the reply. I had the shop do it because they also installed a cold air intake and exhaust so they did the Edge too. When I was on level 3 I punched it full throttle probably 6 times. What do you mean by detonation? Everything sounded awesome. No weird noises. It was a night nd day difference too. I'm assuming it didn't mess anything up? Whats the worst that could have happened?

Can you answer my other questions too? I'm interested in hearing your Level 2 settings or any other settings at that. Any advice on the tire size question?

i also have an 05 fx4 and recently installed an edge evolution programmer. i also have 35" tires and used the 2792mm number when programming, my performance difference is minimal at level 2 although my gas mileage shows an increase i believe it needs a longer run time to really accumulate a true average. one thing for sure i have on my screen displayed ave mpg , mph, engine temp and trans temp. and i notice my foot is much lighter than before to get good mileage( 14 mpg now-12.5 ave before) so it seems like a little fresher response but at level 2 not really impressed. il try level 1 soon. i was advised against using the cai on this truck with the edge, did you have any codes come up? my ave mpg is allways at or above 14.5 mpg yet actual calc is 13.9 mpg any ideas?
