Edge Evo throwing Blank Screen

Hey guys,
I didn't have time to try to search for this issue so I figured I'd toss a new thread. Lately, I've noticed my Edge evo throws a blank screen after start up.
It does show the initial screen ("Evolution") and the 4 meters (rpm, speed, inst. mpg, and avg mpg) all at a start up state. Then when I crank the truck, the screen goes blank and it just lights up the color of the background....No meters or anything, just blank...Any ideas? I've just got it unplugged right now...

I'm down here in Alabama and we recently had a cold spell and I thought that may have been it but the weather has warmed up yet it just did this again today...

I don't think a "cold spell" in Alabama would warrant the screen on your Evo to go bad like that. Have you called Edge?

This sounds a bit like a weak battery to me. Once you start the truck, can you unplug the Edge, plug it back in again and everything's fine? If the voltage to the Edge drops low enough, as it can during cranking with a weak battery, it will think it's been disconnected. Then, it may not reinitialize properly once the truck has started, without completely disconnecting it.

I can't see this being a temperature problem.
