Is it worth it??

Is it really worth getting a programmer for a stock 07 5.4 truck?? I really want more power out of my truck its been bothering me lately.

If you can use 25 to 30 added hp, much improved shifting and downshifting, without costing you in fuel economy, then yes. I can no longer stand to drive my truck with the stock tune.

Yes it is worth every bit of what it costs. Remember that if you are thinking about getting a cai or aftermarket exhaust to choose the xacl3 or gryphon so that it can be custom tuned for your mods.

Well there is my decision than lol.......im going to get the gryphon becasue i want to have that display and the custom tunes for when i get my exhaust and cai. Thanks for the replies guys

I have the xcal3 but based on other members the Bill writes some killer tunes for these F150's. Regardless you will be glad you made the choice to go with a programmer

i just got my gryphon custom tunes today and it was so worth the wait, I have been 93 in for awhile now hoping they came soon but I ran it today on 93 performance and it was awesome feels a ton better than stock with power and even with 35" tires on it to. Definitely worth the money. I went with the tuner and a cold air intake and have had huge power gains go for it.
