Tuner recommendation??

I want a tuner that I can plug and play so to speak. Any suggestions? I have just a CAI and Roush offroad and nothing else in the works.

Read, Read Read!!! As many forum posts as you can before you make a decision. Go to each of the manufacturers sights and read their info. Some of them have their own forums and I would suggest reading through those as well. A lot of people swear by different brands so suggesting one over the other may not fit you well if you have a limited budget, need it by a certain time, or need specific tuning done to your truck. Only you can make that decision.

Plug and play is pretty much standard for modern tuners if you have some minimal computer skills and want custom tunes. If you don't want custom tunes then there are many out there that have "canned tunes" that are plug and play. I will say that if you do have a CAI you probably will want a custom tune to really take advantage of it.

Thanks for the replies. Now what about updates and software. I have a mac and a laptop with Vista soon to be 7. Do you need to store much software or any for that matter?

Not really. Just the program to load tunes from emails and update software.

Vista is a bit touchy with Pegasus from PHP. I have no idea if there's a problem with any software from Troyer of VMP.

Vista is pretty touchy, but I've heard if you disable UAC when you need to use Pegasus, there are no problems. I have used Fusion with Windows 7, which is Edge's update software for the Evolution, and didn't have any problems.
