the stating point is 2742. To allow 5% squish, you would use 2605.

You can print a manual from Edge's site.

Right. The formula to use is {[(0.02xy)+(25.4z)]3.1415}0.95

where
x = tire width (in millimeters)
y = aspect ratio (in millimeters)
z = rim height (in inches)

I actually use a 2 or 3% (I don't remember which off the top of my head) "squish" factor because I compared the Evo's MPH to my Garmin to make them match exactly. That means the formula I use is {[(0.02xy)+(25.4z)]3.1415}0.97.

The squish varies with tires. My 20s take a full 5% and my 17s take 3%. I too use a GPS to get it exact.

Since my tires are not metric sized I did the rotation method, on level concrete, mark the ground with clean straight tape, put tape on the tire at the same spot, move forward and have it turn 360 degrees just once ( best to have a friend help ), mark that spot with tape, measure from the starting point to the finish, multiply those inches ( with cms added in if neccessary ) by 25.4 which equals your circumference. Best part about it is squish is already included and its precise.

My 33x12.5 Toyos rotate 100.1 inches at 40psi, 100.1 x 25.4 = 2542mm circumference.

With no squish, it is 2617, so to allow for 5%, you would multiply by 95% and get 2486. For a 3% squish, multiply by 97% and you get 2538.
