chipping info

i own a 2001 f150 7700 5.4l im thinking about chipping it but Im wondering if i should modify a few things before.
anyone have any advice

Chips are pretty much history now that hand held tuners are so popular.

True, ONELOWF, but there is a "switch on the fly" chip that DOES work on his truck. It doesn't have the gauge feature of course.
