Chip or programer?

I have a 4.6 06 2x2 and i am looking into getting a chip or a programmer. What do yall prefer? Nothing to expensive. Prob buy it used. idk yet..

Get something you can upgrade with custom tunes. Either the gryphon or the sct xcal3. They come with generic tunes and in the future if you do mods that require a custom tune you are all set.
