My first Code???????????

Today, my Edge Evo gave me a code. P0506, (IAC) valve duty cycle lower than expected. What does that mean? Is it bad, or is it something that I can fix?

Here's some fixes?
Unplug the edge and plug back in. Or
Disconnect battery with lights on and wait for 30 minutes. Or
Clean MAF sensor with MAF cleaner. Or
Clean throttle body.

My guess its probably the 1st one.
Do you run a cai with oiled filter? If you do the MAF might be getting dirty.

Edge likes throwing this code for some odd known reason even though the 04-08 doesn't have the IAC

I have a K&N air filter and have had the Edge now for 3 years now. This is the first code I have ever gotten. Thanks. I'll try the things you said.

3 years? Then I would clean the MAF and throttle body also. Do the battery last.
