Tuner & CAI Ordered!

After many hours of reading pros & cons of tuners and CAI's I finally pulled the trigger and ordered an S&B intake and custom tuning from Justin at VMP!

Thanks everyone for your input. Now if only I could stop thinking about the damn things every other ten minutes of day! Hehehe

If anyone has these two mods in a 5.4L 3v, give me a holler on what you think!

Cheers!

Thanks!

I just wish I'd be here when they come in....I'm heading out west for work for my usual two to three week tour, so playing with my new toys will have to wait i suppose!

I was a itchin' to update my sig....so I cheated and added them anyway!

SHHHH!!!!! lol

No doubt!

If i were a patient man, I'd have gone with a Gryphon for the dash mount.....but I'm about as patient as someone in line at the DMV!

I don't think you're going to regret getting the Xcal3 over the Gryphon.

Sounds great!

Do you use the 93 as a daily driver or for having a blast once & a while?

Sounds like fun from what I hear!

Nope I agree with you there!

I just like the dash mount to view info on the truck is all. But I weighed all the pro's and con's and my lack of patience won the battle! Hehehe

Good choices!
Don't go crying over not having dash gauges cause your not patient enough to "wait" for the gryphon customz. Scan gauge x gauge is also a great add on for those need to know read outs.

Here's some more. Go to blendmount.com and you can mount the scangauge above your rearview mirror so its off your dash.

Thank Bill at PHP for that one!

Thanks 88!

Looks like a great tool, tons of functions for tweak-heads like most of us here!

I see it in my truck in the near future.

I'm running the 93 octane performance tune all of the time. It's worth it.

Cant wait to try everything out!

Now I'm looking at performance COP's for a quick mod. Since I'm only at
35 000k's on the truck pulling the plugs while I'm there should be no problem.
