My truck is programmed with a hypertech max energy. Last night someone got into my truck and stole my programmer. What happens now? Will my next visit to the garage reset my computer back to stock settings? If I get another programmer will it work on my truck? Thanks for any help..

 

I don't think getting another programmer will work unless you go through someone like PHP or Troyer, who can load a stock program in first. You can take it to a dealer and they will charge you about $80 to reflash it with a stock program. Otherwise, you just drive it. Is that all they took? It will be worthless to them.

 

The moron who took it either knew you or figured they could make a quick buck! Boy will they be in for thrill!

 

they also took my gps and my sirius radio receiver, the took my wifes out of her vehicle also, they left all my tools in the truck, thank god..guess I'll call insurance on Tuesday
