Power Programmer 3

I have done a search and cant find any threads about this subject.

I bought a power programmer 3 for my 2006 f150 5.4 and I wanting to know what settings people are using.

I have my RPM's set at 200 and the shift firmness applied and the rev limiter at 200. stock tire size , and top spped at 120 ( i never get there).

Any input would help.

Thanks!!

Ok, can't help you with that one. Maybe some one will jump in that has used it.

Hi,

I used to have a Power Programmer and it is limited in what can do. I increased the shift points +100 rpm for each shift point, removed the speed limiter, and used the firm shift setting.

The Hypertech is only noticeable when you mash down on the throttle (WOT). If you go with a programmer like the SCT Xcal 2 or 3 or the Gryphon, and get a custom tune, you will notice better performance even when you slightly push on the gas. Custom tuners can change more parameters like the air to fuel ratio to unlock your truck's true potential.

Just my 2 cents...
