You need to get rid of the TB spacer, get a Magnaflow and custom tunes from either Troyer(Xcal3) or PHP(Gryphon). Both are excellent tuners, the big difference being that the Gryphon has a dash mounted monitor that includes 4 gauges.

Take a look at VMP Tuning, too. I just placed my order a week ago so I'll let you know when I get it and how the tunes are but from what I've read I should be pretty damn happy !!

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but throttle body spacers were installed under your carburetor and supposedly helped the fuel mix with the air better before it got to the cylinders.

You don't have a carburetor. Your fuel is injected directly into the cylinders. The spacer does nothing more than add to the total length of the duct supplying air to those cylinders. As such, there is probably a slight reduction in airflow due to the internal drag caused by them which translates into a slight loss of power. I doubt there's any way they can ADD to the air volume, as some claim, due to upstream restrictions in the intake path.

I'll let someone else answer the question about exhausts.

Like the guys before me get rid of the tb spacer. Their only use is to be used as a jet block for nitrous and or meth injection. Any good name brand exhaust out there will do there are so many options out there and they are a dime a dozen but their price doesn't reflect it. A good tuner and tunes will really wake your truck up! Check out these guys php, troyer, vmp.

They add a whopping ~0.05L of volume to the intake manifold. Before SCT gave us transients in the software I had to use manifold volume to control WOT tip-in lean spikes. I had to reduce the manifold volume by ~2 to achieve the best results. So for 0.05L of extra air, won't effect anything good or bad IMO.

Interesting! I would not have guessed that these things could add to the air volume at all. Is there some restriction they remove that I'm not seeing?

No, didn't do anything for mpg and probably lost a little low end torque, but I just love the sound. The TB spacer does nothing for a fuel injected engine. They can help a little under a carburator.
