Hi, im about to buy the edge evolution and was wondering if it was worth the money... and what is the stage 3(extreme) do ???

The Level 3 91+ octane tune is simply a "canned" tune that tries to optimize your driving experience if you fill your tank with 91 octane or better gas. The trucks are designed to burn 87 octane and you're throwing money away if you put hi-octane gas in without changing the way they are tuned.

The Gryphon will be delivered to you with the same three canned tunes you find in an Edge. But, you can tell Bill to write 1-3 custom tunes to replace any of the canned tunes for even better performance.

i dont understand the whole custom tunes thing. I really dont know whats good for a truck and all that good stuff. All i want is more horsepower and torque

 

You don't have to know anything. Just tell Bill what you wish to achieve and what other mods you mighthave, CAI, exhaust, gears, etc, and he will do the rest.
