The custom tunes give a small amount of additional power over the canned tunes, but the biggest difference in mine is the downshifting. With the canned tunes, I was satisfied with the power of Edge's Level 3, but there were speeds where it would not downshift to merge with traffic or to pass on a two lane road. The custom tunes from PHP downshift at almost any speed. Also, my 87 Performance tune is as strong as the canned Level 3 on 93, so I save the difference in price per gallon. My custom tunes paid for themselves in 6 months.

thats awesome. i've noticed a difference in downshifting currently but there are times i wished it downshifted and it didnt to get around that annoying slowpoke (chevy) in front of me (still got around him). im thinking the custom will help with the intake, future e-fans and the long tubes in the power department also. then it might be noticeable gains on the custom also right?

Yes, the guy doing the custom tunes just needs to know what mods to include in the program.

I see you're in Sugar Land. Ive spent lots of time there. My daughter and her family lived in Greatwood for several years but recently moved out in the country near Damon.

greatwood is literally down the road from me. less than 10 minutes. thats funny cause me and the wife have been thinking about moving out to the country recently. we just want the country living back since the city has progressed so much!

They have 4 kids and moving out in the country has been the best thing they could have done.
