If you are that confused, don't even get one. Problem solved.

I use SCT products.

The one I have is the best...

Keep reading through this forum ( I would recomend reading at least 10 pages) write down the 3 programmers that are mentioned the most, then write down the 3 names that do tuning that are mentioned the most. By the time you have done this you will have your answer grasshopper.

I have a Banks engineering Tuner in my 2005 f150 along with a S&B CAI.
IF PRICE IS AN ISSUE THE F-150 STORE IS SELLING THE BANKS PROGRAMMER FOR $159.
THEY NORMALLY SELL FOR $400.. THEY DO NOT COME WITH A PROGRAM IN THEM, YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR STRATEGY CODE FROM THE ONBOARD COMPUTER AND THEN SEND IT BACK TO BANK AND THEY TUNE ACCORDING TO THE CODE...

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SEARCH...Read all the Reviews you can from the likes of Auto anything, Jegs, JC Whitney, Summit Racing, Styling trucks Etc....

Regards
FR8DADDY

People are going to give you their opinions based on what they use. As already mentioned, do a search, this topic has been beat to death.

The tuners are very easy to use just put the tune in and drive very simple.I like sct brand because you can get custom tunes via email from any sct dealer for 50-60 dollars.
