Edge Shifting Problem!

I noticed something very strange just now as I was driving around.

When I am going roughly 60-65, and floor it, it will run up to 70ish, and try to shift, but hang up there and shift back and forth between 2nd and 3rd. I "returned to stock" and all is well. I did a few runs to make sure, and the exact same thing happened.

I thought at first that my rev limiter was set too low, but I checked it, and its not getting close to the limit.

Here are my settings.

WOT 1-2 - 5000 RPM
WOT 2-3 - 5000 RPM
WOT 3-4 - 4900 RPM

Rev limiter - 5400 RPM.

It really freaked me out, and makes me think something is wrong with my edge programming.

My edge is the newer model and I got it in November, no updates have been run on it yet.

Anyone else have this problem?!?!

I DO think your rev limit is too low for the last shift. Try reducing the loast shift point anyway. Bring it down to around 4600 and see what happens.

After driving a 120 mile road trip is stock form, I forgot how gutless the factory tune is on the 5.4.

I retuned at level 2, and have it going well now, with the above shift points. It'll run up to 75ish in 2nd before shifting to 3rd as its supposed to.

Thanks for the help-
