Ordering Gryphon...need help!

Trying to fill out the order form for a Gryphon, had a couple questions:

1. Where do I get my HEX Code?

2. How do I fill out the modification section? I have only added a Magnaflow exhaust. Do I leave the other things blank?

You do not know or need the HEX code this time around. It is used for custom tunes I do believe.

If you do not know the answer or don't have one leave it blank. The order form is a little intimidating but read it thoroughly and it isn't a problem.

I have added a Magnaflow SI/DO muffler. That is the only modification done so far. Do I need to order custom tunes now? Should I go ahead a purchase the 2 custom tunes since they are on special right now? What tunes should I order?

I am going to order the Gryphon with 2 customs tunes. They way I understand it, the sale price for this purchase is $429. I have filled in my order form with Level 1 as an Stock 87 Tranny Only tune and Level 2 as the Custom 87 Performance tune. Should I do level 3 as the Custom 91 or 93 tune?

In my opinion, level 1 is a waste. I used it one time when I first got the Edge. I kept the canned tow tune which is level 2 for the occasional time I tow, and ordered an 87 Performance and 93 performance tune. I am quite happy with my choices. I put over 30,000 on the canned tunes, nearly all level 3. I have over 20,000 on PHP's custom tunes, nearly all on the 87 Performance. Bill does great work.

I just pulled the trigger on a Gryphon. Needless to say, it will be a tough week or so waiting for that thing to get here.

I think it took around 7/8 weeks or so to get my custom tunes (7/08). I looked at it as I've been driving this truck for this long with out them so when they get here they get here. I even told them to take their time. I also skipped the whole canned tune thing, never ran them.

Whatever your wait time is, it will be worth it.

Some have it, some don't. Also, many vehicles have been reflashed by a dealer, so if it has the sticker, it;s no longer valid. You can wait till you receive the unit, hook it up and the calibration code is the first thing you get on the screen.

Night and day difference. I liked the level 3 but I had dead spots where I would need to accelerate in a hurry and there would be no downshift. Around 40 mph and then around 60 mph. The downshift is imposrtant in freeway traffic and on 2 lane roads. I do a lot of both. The 87 Performance gives me the power of Level 3 but at the price of 87 instead of 93, plus it will downshift at any speed.
