I agree. IMO it's not what you have to sell but how it looks. If you had a plain white sticker that sayed "PHP Performance" or something similar I would put it on my truck in a second.

If you don't mind I might go and get a sticker made with your company's name on it. Assuming that's ok?

Why think small? A PHP hot air balloon team could criss cross the country, flying in major market events, making appearances at truck shows, auto parts stores, dealerships and so on. Then people who come to see the balloon could be given all those other trinkets you've already got.

The sky's the limit!

Phil, I hope you don't feel as if I jumped all over you. In fact, I worded my post so that I WOULDN'T be jumping all over you. I appreciate your suggestion as one business owner to another, but perhaps your suggestion would have made more sense as an e-mail rather than a post on a public forum, which -- I feel -- made us look like deadbeats since we won't GIVE our customers an OBDII port cover. If that wasn't the goal of your post (a goalpost? Anyway...) then perhaps it could have been written differently.

I really do think that our customers have figured out that with the prices we charge, we certainly aren't trying to get rich -- we just want to be able to pay our bills.
