ok, bought an Edge off ebay, came in today, dumb thing is vin locked. Can PHP fix this?

Yes, they can - but there's a fee, of course. Their number is in their website at www.PHPTune.com. Can't you do something about this through Ebay though?

You can call Edge first, but my guess is that they won't be able to help you and that you'll have to go through eBay/PayPal channels to get a refund from the seller.

well, I've contacted the seller and waiting on a response. I was asking just in case the guy won't refund my money or anything and I have to get it unlocked.

I'm going to send it in to do the Gryphon conversion anyway (unless he refunds my money, then i'll just straight up by a Gryphon like I should have in the first place!)

grr, sorry, this was just my Christmas present to myself and well, it's an expensive paper weight right now.

 

any money says it's stolen... i'd upgrade to a gryphon...

If you can get the serial number from "inside" the unit (Pegasus can help you get that) we can check with Fusion and see who the unit was originally registered to and whether it was stolen or not.
