speedometer calibration

I just put 35" tires on my 2006 f150 4x4 and speedometer seems to be way off by 7mph. The dealership cost is $ 86.00. Will this fix my shift points and power or just speedo. Would I be better off with tuner and if also which one. Thanks

I would look at it as an opportunity to use the $85 to put towards a tuner. It is the mod I would last give up. Plus, you will have it the next time you change tire sizes. There is the Edge and Gryphon, same hardware, different program options. I would go with the Gryphon from PHP. Much better shifting and downshifting when you get Bill's custom tunes. His 87 Performance is better than the Edge canned tune for 91 octane. With the Edge and the Gryphon, you get a gauge monitor that sits in a pod on the dash. I monitor 4 items at a time with it. Temps, voltage and digital speed.

The other hardwate is an Xcal3 tuned by either VMP or Troyer. It does not have the gauges, but excellent tunes.

Bluejay's dead on with his advice, rhe88jr. The addition of a programmer (and I recommend the Gryphon from PHP too) is a mod you will not regret.
