Hey guys this might be a stupid question and i really want to get the Gryphon But???? How does it affect your warranty? I'm getting a travel trailer next spring and would love to have the programmer just for the simple fact of being able to keep an eye on all the vital engine temps not to mention the added performance. I just dont want to give my dealer any reason to say they wont work on my truck god forbid if i start having problems with her, especially because i get free oil changes for life so my truck is in there alot!!

 

A warranty act from the 70s prevents dealer's from not honoring a warranty unless they can prove that the modification caused the actual problem.

HOWEVER, that does not mean a dealer won't give you the run around and deny service anyway. I would recommend that you return the truck to stock and remove the monitor when you take it in.

 

defconfive's advice is what most of us are saying to do if your truck is under warranty. It's super easy to return the truck to stock, and then, when you get it back, just reset to your custom level and in the options menu, select "Load Previous Settings". Should take all of about 5 minutes or less to reinstall and reprogram.

I think having the gauges really increases my comfort level while towing.
