Micro Max Tuner

I was checking out superchips website and they have some micromax tuners for 04 & 05 F150's for $199.00 on closeout. Are these tuners any good or would they be a waist of money. Any one know how good these tuners are for a 05, 5.4l stock truck with just a K&N drop in and a catback??

Thanks

Not a whole lot of people even have superchips around here. The most common are custom tunes from either VMPTuning, Troyer Performance, or Power Hungry Performance. I have VMP tunes and couldn't be happier, plus they perform WAY better than some old canned tune.

I have never seen them mentioned on this site, that tells me a lot, right there.

I have the Superchips Max Microtuner on my 98. You'll notice a difference with it, but Superchips is almost obsolete now. If you plan on leaving your truck with just the exhaust and K&N, try the Superchip. If you really want a lot more power, don't go with a canned tuner. I'm thinking of upgrading from the Superchip, I just haven't been able to convince myself yet. But it is better than nothing.
