About a month ago got "forced limited power" and "throttle position sensor" codes. I was about 30 miles from home and did indeed limp home.. lol..

I was running Troyer tunes (87 perf) with the 3" AF1 intake.

Got home, returned to stock tune, put the stock intake back on and no more codes.. Took her in to the dealer to I thought, have the throttle position sensor replaced.. They said it checks out fine and that it may have been bad gas that caused this.

I haven't had any problem since returning to stock tune and intake..

Is it possible for poor gas to cause those codes?.. Limp home sucks ***.. LOL

My TB is clean as a whistle, dirt or gunk has never been an issue with the AF1..

Any thoughts appreciated..

 

Did you fill up right after returning to stock? Seems like if it were bad gas it would have taken a fill up or drain to cure? I've only had bad gas twice though.........I mean gasoline.
