Jack...avgas here was running around $3.50-4 before the oil speculators went retarded and jacked oil up to $140+, which made it hit $4.50 awhile back. But since oil's come down to $94 today (woo hoo!, keep going down into the low $80s/high $70s) avgas should be back into the $3s very soon.

I've found it's very competitive with racing fuels, and we only use it on our drag car that we race. But I was curious as to whether it would be worth trying in a SCrew or not. Normally I would say "heck no, are you crazy?" but with the custom tuners having the ability to easily adjust timing advance and fuel settings, etc. it appears to be a viable option. I'm just curious as to what gains - if any - would it have over a normal 93 performance tune on 93 octane.
